About “the nerves of them”:
The nerves of them came from a collaboration between John & Dave over a 3 month period in 2007. The end result is a unique blend of experimental music with haunting melodies and rich percussion, all coming together to form a strange instrumental soundtrack to an even stranger life.

Recorded over 10 months in 2007, ‘dog’, the new self released album from Stella Royale, sounds like a combo plate of garage rock n’ roll, folk Americana, with a thin slice of techno, and a Brompton’s cocktail to wash it down.
“This new CD is a collection of musical ideas that we had been working on in 2007. There are so many different influences and styles to the songs, we gave up trying to make the album sound a certain way, and just went wherever it lead us. What we ended up with was a nice blend of music with some weird, jazzy bass lines, whiney guitar riffs, beautiful, haunting melodies and the occasional techno beat.
